| Who's Who  Paula
Patterson, M.S.,RDT/BCT,C.P.,CETIIDramatist in Residence Paula Patterson has been the dramatist in residence for Shands Arts in Medicine since 1996. Paula describes her work at AIM as the opportunity to integrate her varied backgrounds in theatre, nursing, creative arts therapy and mental health counseling. Paula is a graduate of the School of Playback Theatre. As AIM's dramatist in residence, Paula directs The Reflections Theatre Troupe of AIM. The Reflections provide bedside theatre and group performances throughout the Shands system. Paula has been the founding director of three Playback companies in the United States. San Diego Playback and Jacksonville Playback Theatre continue to thrive on their own while Paula focuses on The Reflections. Paula is a mentor for IPTN, the International Playback Theatre Network, and enjoys assisting new troupes in developing their strengths.

Paula
is certified as a psychodramatist and an experiential therapist. She
consults internationally with professionals and organizations interested
in the use of theater for team building, clinical interventions and
personal growth.
