Lose your Dialysis Blues

Visual artists bring painting, drawing and collage supplies on a mobile cart into the Dialysis Unit and work with pediatric patients while they are tethered to the dialysis machines. On occasion, musical performances are arranged for the unit. All of these activities are designed to reduce boredom during the 3 hour treatment, and change a child’s focus away from physical distress.
