CHOMPETITION Dates

CHOMPETITION begins January 8, 2011 and ends February 17, 2011.

Submit your Video

All videos must be submitted to YouTube to be eligible. Submission instructions and eligibility criteria are listed in the full Terms and Condition. Excerpts are below:

Your video does not have to be flashy! Just fun :)
But you must use our Do the Chomp music. The length of your video cannot exceed the length of the accompanying Do the Chomp music which is 27 seconds.
If your video wins the CHOMPETITION, we will cut any video that exceeds the allotted 27 seconds. Please start your video with the music right at the beginning. Do not spend time introducing yourself or your group.
It must be in a format compatible with YouTube and must be successfully uploaded to YouTube.
When uploading your video to YouTube, you must have Shands Chomp 2011 in the video’s title, description, and tag. We will periodically search YouTube for all the videos posted with those words to review and select our winner.
It must be in English or have English subtitles.
It must comply with the YouTube Terms of Services and the YouTube Community Guidelines.
IMPORTANT! Please save the native (original) file of your video in a standard video format. If you're our CHOMPETITION winner, we'll need the best quality version of your video to load onto the video boards at the O'Connell Center.
We will not be able to use the YouTube version of your video because it's typically poorer quality. If you're the winner, we’ll be asking you for that original file.
It must not be derogatory, offensive, threatening, defamatory, disparaging, libelous, or contain any content that is inappropriate, indecent, sexual, profane, slanderous, discriminatory in any way, or that promotes hatred or harm against any group or person, or otherwise does not comply with the theme and spirit of the CHOMPETITION.
It must not contain content, material or any element that is unlawful, or otherwise in violation of or contrary to all applicable federal, state, or local laws and regulations the laws or regulations in any state or country where video is created.

Prizes

On February 18th, we will contact our winner via the comments section on their Shands Chomp 2011 video, so be sure you allow comments on your video and that you're paying attention!

If your video wins our CHOMPETITION, you'll receive two tickets to a Florida Gators' home basketball game, your video will be played on the video board at the game, and you'll win Gator basketball memorabilia autographed by Billy Donovan!
