Risks:

The risks for any anesthesia are:

  • Problems breathing

The risks for any surgery are:

  • Bleeding
  • Infection

Other risks that are possible from a hysterectomy include:

  • Injury to nearby organs, including the bladder or blood vessels
  • Injury to bowel
  • Pain with intercourse
