Our program is designed to assist in the rehabilitation of America’s number one
killer - heart disease.
The program provides:
- Medically supervised exercise training and rehabilitation
- Assistance in lifestyle modification for those with heart disease
You can benefit from cardiac rehabilitation if you have any of these diagnoses:
- Heart attack
- Heart surgery
- Angina
- Doctor-diagnosed heart disease
- Congestive heart failure
- Angioplasty
- Heart dysrhythmia
- Stents
The Cardiac Rehabilitation staff of Shands AGH includes:
- Medical director (cardiologist)
- Cardiac Rehabilitation nurse
- Exercise Physiologist

The Shands AGH Cardiac Rehabilitation Center is located in the
HeartCare Center on the first floor. The receptionist will be able to
