Infant CPR and Safety

The infant CPR and safety class is a one-time, two-hour class that prepares parents before they bring the baby home. "Accidents are preventable" is the focus of the class, which is taught by a certified basic life support and car-seat safety Instructor. Topics covered include:

  • Water safety
  • Fire safety
  • Car-seat safety
  • Poison prevention
  • CPR

In addition to learning about CPR, participants will have an opportunity to practice CPR on an infant mannequin.

The cost for this class is $20, but the fee can be waived in special circumstances.
