Dr. Michael David Weiss received his undergraduate degree in Biology
in 1990 from Florida State University. After graduating from the University of Florida College of
Medicine, Dr Weiss completed his residency at the Medical College of Georgia in Augusta where he
specialized in Pediatrics. In 1997 he received a fellowship in Neonatology at the University of
Florida where he became the Assistant Medical Director for the Flight Program. Currently Dr.
Weiss serves as the Medical Director for the Neonatal/Pediatric Flight Program at Shands at UF
and as Assistant Professor of Pediatrics at the University of Florida's College of Medicine.
