Neurological Services within Shands at UF encompasses both neurology and neurosurgery.

Neurosurgery

Shands HealthCare provides patients a full range of neurosurgical services, including services in cerebrovascular surgery, radiosurgery, epilepsy treatment, spine and spinal cord surgery, pediatric neurosurgery, brain tumor surgery, and the treatment of trigeminal neuralgia and hemifacial spasm.

Neurology

Neurologists study and treat disorders of the nervous system. Shands HealthCare offers a comprehensive, multi-disciplinary approach to treating neurological disorders, including disorders of the brain, spinal cord and nerves. Some of the disorders we treat include:
