Safe Kids North Central Florida at Shands Children's
Hospital at the University of Florida, part of Safe Kids Worldwide, brings
together more than 50 organizations and individuals who are concerned about childhood
injury prevention. Founded in 1987, the coalition's mission is to provide education,
programming and awareness about preventable injuries. The local chapter's efforts are
led by Shands Children's Hospital at the University of Florida with funding provided in
large part by Children's Miracle Network.
Sign up for car seat checks, find local safety events and join the Safe Kids Club
