The University of Florida Shands Eastside Community Practice is a full-service healthcare resource for children, adults and families. Healthcare professionals at Eastside offer people of all ages a wide range of healthcare services and help them learn how to stay healthy and prevent disease through each stage of life. The healthcare team includes physicians, nurse practitioners, pharmacists, dentists, psychologists and social workers.

The Eastside Community Practice also provides free health education classes in the community on diabetes, prostate cancer, breast cancer, nutrition and pain management. Classes are offered at community locations such as churches, senior centers and hair salons.
