program at the Shands Transplant Center at the University
of Florida. The Shands Transplant Center at UF Lung Transplant
Program was founded to treat patients with end-stage lung
disease. The 10-year-old program performed more than 230
lung transplants. The survival rates for our program are
higher than the respective national average.
