Checklist:

Regular Processing Time: 90 to 120 days from receipt of case

Premium Processing Time: Adjudicated within 15 days from receipt of case

Cost: Premium Processing – an extra $1,000 *Shands HealthCare will absorb the cost of the premium processing

Information needed:

Social security number and A#

Current nonimmigrant status and expiration date

Consulate information including address of consulate

Copies to be submitted:

Transcripts

Reference letters

All Visas

NAFTA TN-1 Visas (Canadian)

No dual intent. Alien must remain in country temporarily with no intent of adjusting to permanent status
No annual cap for Canadian workers
Renewable on an annual basis
No EAD required

Regular Processing Time: Varies for each Consulate. Generally, the visa will be issued the day after the appointment. Applications submitted to USCIS generally take four to five months to be approved.

Premium Processing Time: Adjudicated within 15 days from receipt of case

Cost: Premium Processing – an extra $1,000 *Shands HealthCare will absorb the cost of the premium processing

Information needed:

Proof of Canadian citizenship (passport birth certificate)

Social Security Number and A#

Current nonimmigrant status and expiration date

Consulate information including Consulate address

Copies to be submitted :

Temporary work visa
Applicant must show they are an Australian citizen
Applicant must be going to the United States to work in a specialty occupation
Usually issued for two years at a time
