Skanska USA Building Inc. in March began construction of an underground tunnel that will connect Shands at the University of Florida to the Shands at UF Cancer Hospital. The tunnel will be about 440 feet long and will provide a safe path for our patients, staff and the public to move between buildings without having to cross over Southwest Archer Road.
