Speakers Resource Program
The Shands HealthCare Speakers Resource Program is a free community
education service that provides educational programs presented by Shands
professionals to community organizations, schools, businesses, and civic
clubs. The program is designed to help people learn more about their
health by interacting with physicians and other healthcare professionals
in an informal atmosphere.

You can request a speaker by calling Shands HealthCare Marketing and
Public Relations at (352) 265-0373 or by applying
online.
Please allow at least two weeks to fill your request and have the following
information available when requesting a speaker:
- Three topics of interest
- Date, time, location, and length of presentation
- Organization/group name
- Approximate number of participants
- Target audience
- Your name, phone number and email address
